Dr. Plešnar completed Medical School in Zagreb in 2022. After completing supervised work at the Ministry of Internal Affairs Health Center, she continues her education at the Milojević Polyclinic.
Following the completion of the Training Disaster Medicine Trainers and Human Rights for Medical Practitioners, she became a certified trainer with more than 200 hours of training delivered to medical students worldwide.
As the Regional Assistant for Human Rights and Peace Regional Director for Europe, she worked within the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA). In these two roles, she represented over 1.4 million medical students from 130 countries. While serving in these positions, she had the opportunity to collaborate with the World Health Organization (WHO) and advocate for the voices of medical students and youth at various international meetings, including the World Health Summit, WHO Regional Committee for Europe, High-level meeting on health and migration in the WHO European Region: jointly shaping the vision for the health of refugees and migrants, UN Generation Equality Paris Forum. She has also participated in and led world and regional assemblies of medical students multiple times.
