Ivona Marčelja Paravić graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka (majoring in general medicine). After several years of work at Guy's and St. Thomas NHS Trust in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics in London, in 2016 she started her independent career and opened the Aesthetic Clinic Marelle Aesthetics in London.

Today she is a member of the General Medical Council, British College of Aesthetic Medicine, Aesthetics Complications Experts group (ACE) and Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative (CMAC) and is an educator at the Medical Aesthetics Training Academy (MATA).
